Kigami Biraki 2011 (New Years Training)

Posted on Monday December 27, 2010

The Karate program will be running our annual Kigami Biraki/New Years training on January 8th (see below for training times and locations) Biraki training literally means, “to open the mirror”. It is also called “Kagami Wari” meaning “break mirror”. The mirror represents the soul or conscience. This heavy and grueling training is seen as a way to clarify your thoughts and strengthen your dedication in the coming year. There is a $5 fee. Please see Sempai Devlin to register.

Schedule
1:15 (Gymnasium)
3:30 (Dance Studio)
